The Effects Of A Barrel Tuner On A .22 Rim Fire Accuracy
I wanted to see what effect a barrel tuner has on the accuracy of a 22 rim fire rifle.
I used an Anschutz 1808 MS rifle, that has been custom stocked with a sporter stock, a Leupold 6.5-20X scope was installed, and a Hoen 4000 Plus barrel tuner was used for this test.
All groups are 10 shots at 100 yards. The Hoen has approximately 27 full turns, with smaller graduations in between. It is very well made. I used a full turn between groups.
