22 HORNET
The following data was developed in an ANSCHUTZ single shot target rifle. It had a 23-inch barrel. Originally it was throwing its shots all over the place. Upon examination, I found that, as with most factory rifles, the bedding of the action was not done very well at all.
I glass bedded the action and made sure the barrel was completely free-floating. There was an immediate improvement in its shooting!
I installed a Leupold 6.5 – 20X scope in EAW mounts. Winchester SR primers in Winchester brass.
All shots groups are 5 shots at 100 yards.

The following loads were developed in an Anschutz Exemplar Pistol, with a 14” barrel. Leupold 2.5-8 Extended Eye Relief scope was used. All groups are 5 shots at 100 yards. Winchester brass and Federal 205M primers were used in all the loads.
