Hunting The Selous With Alan Vincent 2014

This is an African ambrella!

The rains made it impossible for us to leave camp. As the roads become waterlogged, and almost impossible to drive on.

There is never a missed opportunity for a photo!

You can compare this photo with others I have posted to see how high the river has risen.

Walter had a trick up his sleeve. He asked Alan to tie him up with a tie wrap, and he was going to get himself untied.

As the roads were water logged, we had to walk about a half mile to the shooting range. Walter refused, he said he needed transport! Pete came to the rescue, by getting a wheel barrow and pushing Walter there!

Lema gets his usual shiner! Every year! He did well in the shooting contes this year!

Another contestant with a shiner!

Bullets we have collected from our animals this year.

On our way out of camp to the bush airport. Everything was water logged, and we made sure we had plenty of time to get there, as we thought we might need it.

Glad we did, as we kept getting stuck, and used  one truck to pull the other out.
